Nursery

Thank you for your interest in Millbrook Park Nursery.

Our nursery is housed in a purpose-built section of the school and boasts a large bespoke-designed outdoor play area. It is an attractive, bright environment which has been designed with learning in mind.  We aim to ensure that children who join the nursery have a happy and successful start to their education. Although attending the nursery does not guarantee a place in the school, we strongly wish to admit children to the nursery whose parents/carers would like them to attend the infant school in order to aid continuity of experience for the child and help them settle easily and maintain friendships already established in the nursery.

Before applying for a place, you may wish to attend a prospective parents tour. Please click here for a list of upcoming dates. If you would like to attend a tour, please email the school office at admin@mbpschool.co.uk.

15 hours Free Childcare

Every three and four-year-old is eligible to receive up to 15 hours of free early education per week, up to 38 weeks per year.

At Millbrook Park CE Nursery, parents are able to request their preference as either 5 morning sessions (Monday to Friday, 08.30-11.30.am) or 5 afternoon sessions (Monday to Friday 12:30 - 3:30pm). The nursery will always try to accommodate these preferences.

Top-up Hours

Millbrook Park CE Nursery offers parents the option to purchase top-up hours at a cost of £32 for each 4-hour session; you may request up to five extra 4-hour sessions a week. Please note that from September 2025 the fee will be £34 for each 4-hour session.

Please indicate your request on the application form. You will be required to give the school a half term’s notice should you wish to make any changes. Payment must be made online by Parent Pay or by childcare vouchers. Children can either have a packed lunch when attending the top-up sessions, or a hot school lunch (this will be charged as extra).
