RfP - Reading For Pleasure

At Millbrook Park, we aim to foster the skill of reading for pleasure for all of our pupils. We have dedicated time slots after lunch each day where teachers read a story to the children from a selection they have voted for, expanding their knowledge of a variety of new and classic authors. We are also very lucky to have a wide variety of books to choose from in our school library, including new magazine subscriptions to The Beano Comic and What On Earth magazine.
