At Millbrook Park CE Primary School & Nursery, we are always striving for excellence. We are proud of our school and the progress we are making, while remaining ambitious about what we want to achieve for every child.
Our Christian vision, inspired by the Parable of the Good Samaritan, sits at the heart of our work. We want every child to feel that they belong, achieve and thrive, within a school community characterised by kindness, respect, resilience and a commitment to one another.
Each year, leaders carefully evaluate the quality of education and experiences we provide and identify the areas that will make the greatest difference to our children.
Our School Priorities for 2026–2027
Inclusion & Adaptive Teaching
Ensuring that every child can achieve, belong and thrive, with particularly strong support for pupils with SEND, disadvantaged pupils and those who may need additional help.
Attendance, Punctuality & Belonging
Working in partnership with families to ensure that children attend school regularly, arrive on time and feel a strong sense of belonging within our school community.
Excellent Teaching & Curriculum
Continuing to strengthen our curriculum and teaching so that children know more, remember more and can apply their learning with confidence across all subjects.
Strong Foundations
Securing the essential foundations children need for future success, with a particular focus on Early Years, phonics, reading, writing and mathematics.
Leadership, Behaviour & Personal Development
Continuing to develop strong leadership, high expectations and calm, purposeful behaviour, alongside rich opportunities for children to develop their confidence, character and leadership skills.
Always Moving Forward
School improvement is continuous. We will celebrate what is working well while remaining focused on where we can be even better.
Throughout 2026–2027, leaders, staff and governors will regularly review our progress and ensure that our actions are making a tangible difference to children's experiences and outcomes.
